CDANet 4.2 Update for Specific Insurance Carriers

Please be advised of an upcoming update to the CDANet version 4 for the following insurance carriers by February 1st, 2024:

• National Life (announced on January 19th)
• Manulife Financial (announced on January 22nd)
• Industrial Alliance Pacific Life Insurance
• Industrial Alliance
• Manulife Financial Affinity Markets
• The Benefits Trust

CDANet will contact you once the update is ready for your insurance carrier. Upon receiving the notification, please follow the instructions below to switch your CDANet version in your Configuration settings within your ClearDent software:

1. Using ClearDent login with access to update insurance carrier information
2. Go to System > Configuration > Insurance Carriers > select the carrier > Click on Modify button > switch CDA Version from 02 to 04
   
   
   
3. [Optional] If CDA's email suggests this carrier now supports new EDI features such as co-ordination of benefits, enable them in the EDI Flag toggle.
