⚠️ClearDent Charting Not Opening After Recent Windows Update

We’ve identified an issue where the most recent Windows Update (KB5064081 and KB5065426) is preventing ClearDent’s Charting feature from opening.

What You’ll See

When you try to open Charting, an error message will appear, and you won’t be able to access the chart.

Why This Happens

This problem was introduced by Microsoft’s update, not by ClearDent.

What You Can Do Right Now

• Ask your IT provider (or office administrator) to remove the latest Windows Update (KB5064081 or KB5065426).
• Pause Windows Updates temporarily to prevent the same update from reinstalling.
• In the meantime, you can still create treatment plans using the Treatment Tab, but you won’t be able to view the visual chart.

What’s Next

We have confirmed that the error message related to 'Microsoft.Ink.InkOverlay..ctor()' that commonly occurs when opening Charting is caused by a recent Windows Update. Until Microsoft provides a permanent fix, the recommended temporary workaround is to uninstall the affected update(s) and pause future Windows Updates to prevent reinstallation.
